Fr. Victor Krueger-Kischak

Fr. Victor Krueger-Kischak Rev. Victor settled into his new parish in mid-December of 2007. His energy and enthusiasm is contagious throughout the young and old of the congregations of Good Shepherd and Christ Church and he naturally makes everyone feel completely at ease and part of the family.

Victor studied English at Wilfrid Laurier University and while attending a government conference met his future wife Kim, a native of Alberta. He continued his studies of English and obtained a Masters at the University of Manitoba where Kim was earning a degree in education. In 1994 the couple was married and they travelled to Japan where Victor studied Japanese, and earned a black belt in Kendo the modern variation of Kenjutsu samurai sword fighting. They came back to Canada in 1997 and settled down in Kitchener, and have since been blessed with two wonderful children, Ally and Grace who share their mother and father's never ending energy, enthusiasm and curiosity into the wonder of things.

In 2002, after Ally was born, Victor enrolled in Huron University College at the University of Western Ontario on a part-time basis and was ordained before he graduated in 2006. For a short time Victor was placed as a curate at East London Anglican Ministries before moving to his new parish.

Rev. Victor has brought to our parish, inspiration, youth and family. And a comfort and contentedness to which everyone should aspire.
